2007 / 2008 Rates
Summer (dates Jun 17 - Sept 3):
$1495/Week
$495/Weekend
Extra weekday nights: $199 each night
Fall/Winter/Spring (all other
dates):
$995/Week
$395/Weekend
Extra weekday nights: $149 each night
Please Note: A minimum number of nights stay
and higher rates may apply to Holiday's such as: MLK Day, Presidents Day,
Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Eve.
Weekly rentals are normal during the summer season so weekend-only rentals may
not be available during June, July and August.
We are flexible and are willing to
work with you for your vacation, however, here are the normal time slots for
renting the cottage:
- Weekends: Friday to
Sunday
check-out at 12 Noon.
- Weeks: Sunday check-in at 3pm
to
Sunday check-out at 12 Noon.
This is how to book your trip:
Email or call us
with the dates you have in mind and we will let you know if they are
available. If the dates you want are available, then simply send us a $100 deposit to reserve your dates
to our home address: Up
North Getaway LLC, PO Box 1212, Walled Lake, MI 48390 (Please send all correspondence to this address). Make sure
to send with your deposit your
name, phone number, address, and the dates you wish to reserve! Please make your check payable to "Up
North Getaway, LLC". Within one week of sending us your $100 deposit,
you will receive a receipt for the $100 deposit and a confirmation letter for
your reservation from us. If you do not receive this, please call us ASAP
because we may have not received your deposit and you could lose your
reservation.

Because we wish to keep the cottage in its beautiful condition, we have a small
two-page
rental agreement and ask for a fully-refundable security deposit that we hold in case of
any damages. We require all rent paid and your check for the security
deposit be received at least one week prior to your first day of renting.
Please print the two-page
rental agreement and sign it and mail it in with your payment in full plus a
check in the amount of $350 for security deposit. We normally try to get a
hold of you two weeks before your vacation to go over all of the details and answer any other questions you
may have.
We do ask that you leave the cottage in the same condition that it was in when
you arrived. We have a cleaning lady that comes in after your stay to
clean the cottage and wash all the bedding. The cleaning lady will check
if there were any damages and if
there are none, we will send your security deposit check back to
you.
